Making for quite the scary situation, Reese Witherspoon was reportedly rushed to the a Santa Monica hospital after being hit by a car during her jogging session on Wednesday (September 7).
With the incident occurring at 11AM, the "Water for Elephants" actress is said to have been crossing the street when an 84-year-old driver failed to stop as her automobile collided into Miss Witherspoon.
In what could have been a tragic situation, Reese's rep has since told press that the injuries sustained were "very minor" and that she's already been released from the medical center while currently resting at her home.
As a result of the accident, the driver has been cited by police for failure to yield to a pedestrian.
